tonight was absolutely perfect. the weather was perfect, hot [but not too hot & not humid], then cooler right before sunset. so we packed up a bag, dressed steve in some shorts & a t-shirt, lathered him up in sunscreen, then went out. we stopped by the store for some crackers [for steve] and a couple other things. when we were there, we found an adorable baby pool that was exactly the right size & all for steve. so we grabbed it and a couple little swimmers [we already have an adorable bathing suit for him & luckily had packed it in the diaper bag]. we went down to county central park & started looking around at the pavilions along the river, looking for a empty one with a play-area so we could set up the pool and all. but unfortunately county central park was PACKED, probably because of how nice it was & it being a saturday & all. plus, steve fell asleep in the car. so we came home, woke the little guy up, and took him to the play-area here. at first, he was a bit sleepy still, but once he woke up, he was all smiles. =] i got a few pictures & videos, but our camera batteries died so i couldn't really get any good ones. after that, we sat/laid down in the grass with the crackers & some swedish fish and just played for a little while. once sunset hit, we decided we still had enough daylight for a walk, so we put steve in his red car that he loves & walked around our community. it's been a wonderful night. =] here's some of the pictures we got:
tomorrow, weather permitting, we're setting up the pool & testing it out so i'm sure they'll be a lot of pictures from that! i'll make sure the batteries are fresh this time. :P
